Who is paying?

Following the objections of the LAW group and retaining of legal counsel by them I have a question. Who is funding the cost of the lawyer? It will most certainly cost a large sum to pursue the “case” through the legal system as stated by Robert Hoban, Attorney at Law in the Littleton Independent. I with “prejudice” would wonder if it could be unions (who have an ax to grind)!

Wrong location for Wal-Mart

I wish to express dismay at the thought of another Wal-Mart in our area. To build a Wal-Mart in the proposed location on Santa Fe is insane when you realize what the destruction would be to the immediate area. Who wants to trade wildlife preserve for trucks? A behemoth monstrosity for the river (scarce enough in our part of the woods)! Who wants lights and noise 24-7? Huge increase in traffic? Possible increase in crime! Why isn’t it good enough to have a Wal-Mart on Santa Fe and Hampden and another on Wadsworth and Quincy? We are being Wal-Marted to death! I’ve nothing against Wal-Mart only against where they have chosen to build. There are locations along S. Santa Fe that would not be disruptive.
