We don’t need another one

I just don’t understand why we need another big Wal-Mart here in Littleton. I have three of them that are just five miles away in any direction. If this fly’s the downtown district of small businesses will really suffer and might have to close. Small town stores have the best climate and everyone that I talk to say that these Big Box stores are killing America by taking away the heart of old time America. People started these business to serve their communities and lived in the same building by giving the people what they wanted. I think that big bucks are talking on this issue and not thinking about being on a flood plain is not the brightest plan. I feel sorry for Littleton if this really goes thru for everyone will LOSE.

Who is paying?

Following the objections of the LAW group and retaining of legal counsel by them I have a question. Who is funding the cost of the lawyer? It will most certainly cost a large sum to pursue the “case” through the legal system as stated by Robert Hoban, Attorney at Law in the Littleton Independent. I with “prejudice” would wonder if it could be unions (who have an ax to grind)!
