Who did the study?

OEC
Organizational Effectiveness Consulting is the consulting firm hired by the city council to study the Littleton Police Mangagement. OEC has assisted more than 100 law enforcement agencies throughout the country including the Commerce City, Colorado and Los Angeles Police Departments.

April 2006
OEC hired by Littleton City council

Early May
OEC reports to Chief, Assistant City Manager and City Manager there is widespread distrust and fear of top leadership. This resulted in OEC being asked to determine if there was a willingness within the organization to participate in problem solving.

June
Oral report delivered to City manager Chief of Police and Assistant City Manager.

September 1, 2006
Police Management Study complete

September 12, 2006
Littleton City Council meets to discuss the findings of the OEC management study.

September 18, 2006
Littleton Police Chief Gary Maas announced his retirement effective December 31, 2006.
