The fight against Wal-Mart is still not over
City Council has spoken
Now it’s the citizens’ turnAttend the community meeting tonight at Bemis Public Library at 7:00pm
We will discuss options and strategies for our next steps.
We can still stop the 24-hour Wal-Mart SuperCenter from being built next to South Platte Park.Bring a friend and a neighbor.
There will be a community meeting to discuss City Council’s vote this Wednesday January 31st, at 7:00pm at the Bemis Public Library.
I will not be able to attend tonight but you have my permission us my expresion of dismay in the passing of the Wal-Mart debackle. It seems that some of our council reps. don’t under stand that failure of the Taber vote at the last was a vote of no-confidence ( at least on my, and many of the people I talked to, part).
